Havana Club's annual New Year's Eve Party is always a special treat, featuring: salsa lessons and dancing, hors d'oeuvres, midnight champagne toast, and, of course, Boston's best salsa music and dancing.

About the Venue: Located in Boston's historic South End, the Villa Victoria's Jorge Hernandez Cultural Center is a beautiful, expansive, 450 person capacity performance venue. Built as a Church in 1898, the renovated space features: stunning architecture, a performance stage, club lighting and sound, and two levels of dancing on packed dancefloors.

Driving Directions: Going southbound on Mass Ave take a left on Tremont St then the fifth right on West Newton St. (But park at the 560 Harrison Ave lot, which is a few blocks/half mile away, and take the shuttle to and from the party.)

FROM the Massachusetts Turnpike (Rte. 90 East): Take Exit 22 (Prudential/ Copley Place). Stay left as you exit and turn onto Huntington Avenue, staying right while on Huntington Avenue. Turn right onto Mass Ave, left onto Tremont St, and then right onto West Newton St.

FROM Harvard and Central Squares: Follow Massachusetts Avenue toward Boston, through
Central Square, past MIT. Cross the Massachusetts Avenue Bridge over the Charles River. Travel south approximately 1.5 miles, then take a left onto Tremont St and then the fifth right onto West Newton St.

Parking: There is a bit of On-Street Parking in the South End, but people should Park at the 560 Harrison Ave Lot and Take the Shuttle Service to and from the party - all for just $5.

Walking Directions: From Mass Ave take a left on Tremont St then the fifth right on West Newton St. It is a three minute walk from the corner of Mass Ave. and Tremont.

Public Transport, Bus: Take the #1 Bus to the corner of Mass Ave and Tremont and then follow the walking directions.

Public Transport, MBTA's Green Line (Copley): Take Dartmouth St. to Tremont St. and turn right. After a few blocks, turn left onto W. Newton St. JHCC will be on your left. It is about a half mile walk from Copley and Back Bay.

Taxi Info: The party is a short taxi ride from Central and Harvard Squares, BU etc. A 2-3 mile taxi ride should cost less than $10.
